In 1988, when I got my real estate license, I was a newly single mom of 3 little boys under the age of 3.  Long hours spent in the competitive field of residential real estate meant I had very little time with them.  In late 1989 I delivered a stroller I had advertised for sale and the woman who bought it told me about an opportunity in the booming mountain land sales business which, due to their unique business model, would allow me more time with my young ones.  I interviewed, it was a perfect fit, and I was hired!  In January of 1990 I started my long-term love affair with marketing mountain properties for the two largest land developers in Southern Colorado.

In 2006 I was ready to jump back into the residential side of the business and started Colorado Land & Homes.  I immersed myself in classes to get up-to-speed and have been active in both markets since.

So…why work with me?

You can count on me to be here when you need me.  I’ve been licensed since 1988 so I’m committed to my chosen career.

You won’t have unnecessary surprises when you work with me.  My longevity in real estate means I’ve seen and handled just about everything.  And if I do run into something I haven’t yet experienced, I have the contacts and resources to sort through it quickly so your transaction is as carefree as possible for you.

You can rest assured that I have the knowledge needed to give you the best help possible with your sale or purchase.  All Colorado licensees are required to complete an annual 8 hours of continuing education but, in order to stay current on industry changes, as of 2018 I have averaged 19 hours a year for 30 years—over twice the requirement.   As part of this extra class time, I’ve earned numerous professional designations, each requiring specialized training, and I have those skills to offer you, as well.  This includes the ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), the ALC (Accredited Land Consultant), the e-Pro (Internet Technology Training), the GRI (Graduate of REALTOR Institute), the MRE (Master of Real Estate Education) and SFR (Short-Sale and Foreclosure Resource).  I am a member of the Council of Residential Specialists and am working toward the CRS designation at this time. I stay up-to-date in these areas of the business by reading the professional monthly publications offered only to designees/members.

The Bachelor of Science degree I earned in Business Administration from the University of Colorado gives me business related abilities and knowledge to lend to your transaction, too.

Whether you wish to sell your home or purchase your next one, or the adventurous side of you would like to start from scratch and do it your own way on some acreage, you will have the comfort of knowing that I am well-versed in the intricacies of both types of transactions.

You will have a dedicated, knowledgeable partner in forging through the morass of paperwork, scheduling and deadlines which are a necessary part of the process.  I will handle all of the contract details so that you are free to spend your time in other ways of your choosing.  You will feel pampered and secure in knowing that you are working with an experienced professional who is putting your needs first and who has your back.  I am committed to providing epic service and trouble-free transactions.

Thanks for taking a minute to learn about my journey.  I sincerely hope I can have the chance to help you into your dream property in the near future!
