To make sure you receive credit, please take a minute to go over the requirements below.

- You must have audio and video on at all times.
- You must be logged in and ready to begin at exactly 1:00pm
- You must be visible to the instructor at all times (except breaks).
- You must be focused on the instructor and not other tasks.

There will be a class proctor monitoring attendance, if the guidelines above are not being observed, you may be asked to leave the class.

To ensure a positive virtual class experience, please follow these easy steps:
 
 
CLASS POLICIES

1. Class will start promptly at 1:00 PM.  We will lock the meeting 10 minutes after the start time to meet REB attendance requirements. 
2. Your video (camera) must be on/stay on in order to qualify for continuing education credit.  If your video (camera) is not on, you will not receive continuing education credit.
3. Driving during a virtual class is prohibited.  If you are observed driving, you will be removed from the class automatically and not allowed to rejoin.
4. Test your internet video (camera) and audio connections before class by joining a test meeting at https://zoom.us/test.

 
BEFORE CLASS (you can do this any time before class – even the day before)

1. Log into your personal Zoom Account.  If you don’t have one, create a Zoom account by going to https://zoom.us/signup to sign up for a free account and download onto your computer, laptop, or tablet. Mobile phones are not recommended for virtual education.  Our classes are restricted and require you to have a personal Zoom account.
2. After logging into your personal Zoom account, click on the link that was EMAILED TO YOU BY Virginia REALTORS (either the day before or the day of the class)
3. Once you click on the link above, you will be taken to a page to register for this event in Zoom. 
4. You will then receive an email from  Virginia REALTORS <no-reply@zoom.us> with a link specific to you.

 
THE DAY OF CLASS

1. Log into your Zoom account.  Join the class at least 15 minutes early.
2. Open the email from  Virginia REALTORS <no-reply@zoom.us> with the link specific to you to join the class (CLICK HERE TO JOIN).  You must be logged in to your personal Zoom account for this link to work.

If you have problems with the link, make sure you are logged into your personal Zoom account.  Click on Join a Meeting and then enter in the meeting ID provided in YOUR email as shown in the sample above.
 
ADDITIONAL INFO

1. To increase the clarity of the audio, you may want to use headphones or earplugs vs. the speakers on your device.
2. Be sure your device is plugged in so your battery doesn’t die midway through the class.
3. If you do experience technical issues (camera or audio not working only – not Zoom login) that you can’t quickly resolve, please contact the Tech Helpline
