Hello new HCBOR Real Estate Agent:
 
The Henderson County Board of REALTORS® welcomes you as a new member; however, your membership application is not complete until you have attended the HCBOR Orientation class. The next Orientation class is scheduled for Thursday, March 20th, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Board office in Eustace (534 U.S. 175, Eustace, TX 75124). The cost of orientation is $50.00. Please register and pay in your Navica account for the 03/20/2024 New Member Orientation located on your Navica Calendar. 
 
 
During the orientation, you will receive an introduction on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), the Rules and Regulations of the MLS, and how to enter information or send information to be entered in the MLS. You will also receive information on Board functions, By-Laws of the Board, its officers, committees, and meetings. By-Laws, MLS Rules & Regulations & MLS Standing Rules. These can be reviewed on NAVICA click on ‘Resources’ and then documents can be printed.
 
Orientation is MANDATORY. Every member of the Henderson County Board of REALTORS® has, at one time or another, attended orientation.  It is a condition of your membership. There are no excused absences except of dire emergencies. Failure to attend one of the next two Orientation Classes will result in the suspension of your privileges of HCBR membership without further notice- including suspension of your listings in the MLS .
 
All new licensees who are not yet subject to the T.R.E.C. Mandatory Continued Education (MCE) requirements must complete the N.A.R. On-Line Ethics Training Course Prior to attending the Board’s Orientation Class. You can access the online course by logging onto www.REALTOR.org and selecting Education>Code of Ethics Training> begin or resume the new member course now. You will receive an e-mail from N.A.R. confirming your completion of the online course. You will need to forward that e-mail to hendersoncountyboard@gmail.com in order to prove you have completed the course prior to attending the HCBR Orientation.
 
Please plan to attend this scheduled Orientation and reserve your seat by registering in your NAVICA account located on your NAVICA calendar.
