What's New with SentriLock
Here is a brief rundown on what's new with SentriLock and how it will make doing business easier for all Golden Isles MLS Participants and Subscribers.

All SentriLock Bluetooth Lockboxes are a free member benefit - this benefit is extended to all Golden Isles MLS Participants and Subscribers. Brokers (or an authorized representative of the broker) must pick up lockboxes from the Association office.

All Residential listings in the Golden Isles MLS that are Active (for sale) or Active (long-term rental) must now have a SentriLock Bluetooth Lockbox.

If your seller does not want a lockbox on his or her property, or if the seller specifically opts out of having a SentriLock Bluetooth Lockbox, then you will need to upload the seller-signed Lockbox Authorization Addendum to the Documents section of the listing on MLS.

You must assign your lockbox to your listing using the SentriSmart mobile app or desktop website. You will no longer be able to assign a one-day code until your lockbox has been assigned to a listing.

SentriLock's non-Bluetooth lockboxes (silver Old Gen I and II lockboxes and the later blue NXT lockboxes) will be deactivated system-wide on May 31st. Please return your entire Old Gen and NXT lockbox inventory to the Association office for proper disposal.

Important Dates to Remember
Monday, April 17th, 2017
The renewal period for SentriCards will go from 7 days to 1 day. That means that at midnight every night, your SentriCard will expire. This change will have no effect on your SentriSmart app which will continue to require NO RENEWALS.
Monday, April 24th, 2017
Secure Key Access is enabled, and this update is important for SentriSmart users. If you find yourself having to use your SentriCard instead of your SentriSmart app for any reason (dead phone battery or misplaced phone), you will no longer be able to use the SentriSmart app for the remainder of that day. This security feature is enabled so that multiple users are not simultaneously using your SentriSmart app and your SentriCard, a violation of our rules that could result in a $1000 fine.

All Residential listings (for sale and for long-term rent) must be in compliance by this date. You must either have a SentriLock Bluetooth Lockbox attached to your listing or you must upload the Lockbox Authorization Addendum wherein your seller opts out of having a lockbox to your listing's documents in Navica.

Using the Mobile App
You are highly encouraged to download the free SentriSmart mobile app. SentriCards require daily renewal, and there is no renewal necessary with the app. App is compatible with Apple iOS and Android devices only.

Using the Website
For brokers, it is important to be familiar with the SentriLock website. You will not be able to use your SentriSmart mobile app to assign lockboxes to listings where another one of your agents is the listing agent. To do that, you will need to login to SentriLock.com using your Navica login.
