Galveston Historical Foundation
Incorporated in 1954, Galveston Historical Foundation (GHF) is one of the nation’s largest local preservation organizations. Over the last 50 years, the foundation has expanded its mission to encompass community redevelopment, public education, historic preservation advocacy, maritime preservation and stewardship of historic properties.

Galveston Island State Park
Galveston Island State Park, in Galveston County, is in the city of Galveston on the west end of Galveston Island. It is a 2,013.1-acre site that was acquired in 1969 from private owners under the State Parks Bond Program and was opened in 1975.

Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce
The Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, the first Chamber in the state of Texas, has been promoting and advocating for business and community development in Galveston since 1845.
