Disposition Services
A high percentage of commercial property owners and owners of investment real estate do not understand the tax ramification of selling their real estate assett. This is an important point to keep in mind in that many times we will consult clients not to sell when they thought they should sell. This may sound like strange advice from a real estate broker but we truly put our clients/customers first and if there is a better alternative to selling (ie: refinance, hold for appreciation etc) we offer our honest opinion.
We are proficient with the complexity of completing the 1031 tax deferred exchange which is a legal IRS mechanism that allow a commerical property owner to sell a real estate asset, realize a profit but defer paying capital gain tax by purchasing another "like kind" property. This process is time sensitive and sometimes difficult but we strive to achieve the goal whenever possible.
